Ok Artfol people I need a piece of advice! Are you struggling with keeping your feed in one style/ color palette? Should I even do it?

I’m drawing for a daily challenge on my Instagram now and here’s what happened yesterday:
1 I finished a drawing
2 I realized it does not go well with what I posted before
3 I redrew the whole piece to match my feed
Is that normal? Do you do that too? Or am I overthinking?

I have a couple of drawings that I simply can’t post because it doesn’t match the feed.

Do people who keep their feed in one style really only draw in one style or they just don’t post other drawings?

I also kinda plan how my feed will like and should I post basing on that. But please don’t redraw something just because it doesn’t fits your feed! If it stress you to much, try to have similar color backgrounds or plan what would you like to feed to look like before drawing. Even so, I saw your profile and your art it’s super cute and soft! Not matter what colors you use, I’m sure I’ll like pretty

•No way, that's too constricting, I draw in a million styles. Sure, maybe that would drive many people away, but I don't draw for social media. And if you have a consitent artstyle, who cares, really? I don't think people care. And if you don't have a consistent art style you should try to not think about how everything looks on your social media, that shouldn't be your priority

I also have this.. but you know there are people who like fitting feeds, and others who dont care about the feed and are just curious about your artworks, if it fits your feed or not (and thats me lol). So just try to post every art, for me personally, i really dont care about it. Imagine not posting an artwork that is really beautiful just because it doesnt match your feed

I usually use the same base canvas color so most of the time with smaller scetches and such they already kind of match. With bigger pictures where the base canvas doesn’t show anymore I post what I feel comfortable with. Stuff that absolutely doesn’t match I post somewhere else.
But I think that feed organization is something everyone should do how they feel comfortable with ^-^

I think its probably a normal thing to want to obsess over it but I think its really okay if all your art doesn't match! Art is like an expression of us and not every shade of us matches! Sometimes we're sad or happy or just kind of content and none of those may look good with each other but they're a story.
Plus I don't think your followers will care, cool art that doesn't match is better than no art.

Nah idgaf how my feed looks lmao that's what Instagram is for, and I find that since I keep using my favorite colors it ends up cohesive enough. If somethings like way too wack I might put it behind a filtered version of it or somethin

I usually just do rows (on Insta, here I'm not sure) so I usually try to draw and post consistent pieces for like 3 times each time and while it's not always great it's pretty organized and less stressful. And I always keep it in mind when I do my pieces so I don't have to redo them or hide them or anything

I'd love for my feed to look nice and matching but I have come to accept the fact that it's not gonna happen my art is so different depending on what I wanna do that it doesn't stay consistent :/

Tho i keep my style pretty consistent enough, i do still like drawing different concepts even though they might not fit the overall aesthetics. I like when people draw different things, it shows me what they are capable of in their art

There’s artists with certain styles and aesthetics that can still keep things fresh, but I’ve also seen a few extremes where just scrolling through their galleries will make it feel like I’m looking at the same thing over and over even if the pose or characters are different. Personally I prefer variety, but still, at the end of the day, just do what you feel is most satisfying or fun for you. Personally I never put too much thought into keeping up aesthetics since I’m still discovering myself, but even despite that, I can’t see myself sticking to just one aesthetic I guess, but it really depends on the artist

•I dont lmao. My feed transforms as times goes on and i switch mediums and color palettes. For a few years i used to draw a lot of greyscale and ink sketches so it looked pretty monotone. It was until i got an ipad pencil when it turned colorful and i settled on a palette i really liked.
I think it’s ok to curate your gallery after the fact, but it shouldnt limit what you want to draw at that moment. Try not to think about it too deeply, unless you’re using it for a job application.

i do have this prolem when using instagram ,i used to delete alot of post due to my feed didnt have any asthetic/color theme and it me feel that my feed is a bit messy.
i think that if your style keep changing or you dont a stanble style but still wanna make the feed go well then maybe try to make the art that have color bg(?) like when you post a chibi on it then make that line only chibi,if the line only halfbody then do halfbody.i dont know if that help much but that my way to get out of situation like this

•I personally don't care, basically every art i do is inconsistent with anything i drew before and it's fine beacuse i draw for myself and not for others, it's also really fun to try out new things

•It's nice to have an aesthetic feed, but it's also very nice to try new things new styles. I love looking at artists who experiment a lot. It's really inspiring, more than looking at the same thing all the time :) don't think too much about that, just have fun.

•I do tend to draw in the same style most of the time, but every now and then I'll draw something that doesn't really match. I'll either not post it or I'll post it but hide it from my gallery. I'm so glad that's an option on this app. My Insta is much more of a mess, but my Artfol is nice and matches better in color and style. It's very esthetically pleasing
