【Ephemeris】Inking on Chapter 4 finished!Hi guys! Inking on Chapter 4 has concluded which means with enough luck the official release shouldn't be too far away! I still have to tone and adjust the remaining pages before Ephemeris Chapter 4 will be out to the world. Trust me, this chapter has an amazing story. Here's a preview!
Environments are one of the most difficult things to illustrate in my opinion. I started off with a sketch, used a hatching brush to render the ground, layered on various grass brushes, alternated hatching brushes and tone scrapers for the back-most layer of trees, drew in the trees in silhouette, added in trunks with a tree brush, then alternated various leaf brushes for the foliage. After that, I went through with a painting brush to render in the tones as well as a petal brush for highlights. This took me 2-3 hours to render.
