Azrael’s True Formwaaaaasuppp guyssssss here’s my first actual art post, of no one other than my OC Azrael! this art shows their “true” form (head only) floating above their materialized body that doesn’t actually exist lol. Think like the bodies of gems from Steven Universe: they’re just,,, materialized. but not really there.
a little info about Azrael:
• they used to be an Archangel of the Virtue choir, in charge of keeping death and rebirth up and running, but they’ve just been demoted for doing some... questionable things.
• they go by they / them pronouns and have no real concept of human gender
• they’re part of a book/graphic novel I’m writing called “From Decay Blooms a Green Carnation” (FDBAGC)
• summary of FDBAGC: angel who suppresses their emotions learns how to Feel
with the help of a human, falls in love with said human, and pays the price......
feel free to ask questions about them or the story, I’m open to constructive criticism on their true form design, and I’d love to hear your ideas about where you think the story is going to go!
