it makes me so upset to know that will wood was harassed by trans nonbinary or otherwise genderqueer people for saying he identified as a male but he just enjoyed femininity
and that there were less cis people mad at him when he identified as genderqueer than there were NB/genderqueer who were upset at him for identifying as cis.
it just makes me feel upset
I do not know what he identifies as now, i haven't heard of anything about it that's more recent, but plz
if someone isn't a part of the LGBTQ+ but still supports it (and just happens to like some aspects of crossdressing or otherwise enjoys things that are stereotypically for the opposite gender) do not harass them or try to force them into being LGBTQ+ somehow
it's just as wrong as it would be for someone to try to force us to not be LGBTQ+
I see this happen a lot, more than it should, but I'm just using will wood as an example. it kind of made me upset as a genderqueer person who looks up to him a lot. plz do not do this, especially if they support it already, do not try to force anyone to change their identity no matter what they're changing it to (unless it's problematic like animesexual or something, but don't say "u should be (other sexuality) instead, I rlly don't think that's right)

I didn't know that happened to him!! That's awful. The way you express yourself (masculine, feminine, androgynous, etc) has nothing to do with your gender. You can be a feminine guy or a masculine girl, or anything in between that, and that's all totally valid. Idk why it's so hard for some people to get that. It really sucks that some people in the lgbtq community don't get that and harass people for it. Like don't they know how that feels? For people to tell them that the way they express themselves is bad, and then to turn around and do the same thing just doesn't make sense to me
