Serval multiply layers for shadow and and glow dodge and add glow for soft and hard highlights

If I go by layer modes then multiply, hard light, overlay and color dodge usually. When I go for the traditional way, then nothing, I lick my colours accordingly the traditional way of blending colours.

•None. I just make a copy of the base color and paint both shadows and lighting on that layer. If I want some extra bright highlights tho I sometimes put them on a separate layer with the color dodge, glow dodge or hard light blend mode.

Soft light, in some tutorials they tell you to use overlay for lights but it's too much soft light is perfect
