pick an oc and tell me about their childhood. did they have any siblings? what were their parents like? how were they in school, if they went? did anything notable happen?
my answer:
salem had a very average upbringing. he had no siblings and lived comfortably. their parents were sweet and loving, and by all means, they were raised normally. they went to school at owlstead elementary, where they quickly gained a reputation for being the school's cruelest bully. it was strange that they as a mean streak, as nothing had happened in his childhood to make him behave like this. regardless, he didn't make any close friends until middle school due to his incessant bullying of anyone and everyone.Jun 18, 2021

Picking Eric for this. He’s known pretty early on he was gay. Coming out to his parents, his father was homophobic but his mother supportive and protecting him till she died months later.
He did get in an relationship behind his father’s back, breaking up later on from the toxic ways of the other. Not realizing he was going to hang up pictures he took of and with Eric when parents visited the school to talk about grades and stuff with teachers. He was put in a boarding school for difficult teenagers by hus dad. Literally the beginning of his side of the story.

Oh, Jack can be an interesting one as his childhood has been developed a lot and made canon !
He lives with his parents and everything is fine, until they decide to adopt Leo, an albino kid a few years older than him ! He isn't that friendly towards him, you could say he has a cold behavior and he locks himself in his room a lot. Jack, on the other hand, is warm and friendly !
Their childhood would rather be normal but Jack has some magic that he can't control yet, so he's a bit alienated.
Later on Leo leaves and Jack is left on his own. Until here is what I remember ! I should check my notes from almost a year ago, he's grown a lot !

Marzia had two old siblings. Enzo who is 6 years older and Lucia who is 8 years older than Marzia. Because their mom was french and their dad was Italian, Marzia had to rely on her siblings to learn English, to which they learned from the locals. Their parents were probably the most caring out of my other OCs family and were a happy family. But when Lucia moved out and the incident happened. It changed Marzia and her brother Enzo. Lucia doesn’t know what happened. Enzo left Marzia at a care home when she was 10 and she was abused there. When she was 13 she escaped and ever since then she had been looking for him. Well, until she was 16, and came to a conclusion he wouldn’t come back. That’s how she became a lone wanderer!

Her father is a car fan, that dreams with become a pilot of something, but a daughter incoming launched his dream directly to a trashcan... he wanted to live his dream by seeing someone else, and introduced his daughter to kart racing at 8, fastly she became famous cause of this picture of her in the podium
with 10 years, Giulia got intrested in drifting, and Marco's dream started to become true, so, he introduced her with her new trainer...
At her 12 years, Giulia lost the control of a drift kart, separating her arm in two, but the luck was on her side that day, and didn't lost movement...
Her 13 years... She got introduced as a rookie in FD, the result? She got nervous and fell unconscient in the middle of the race... Thank god she never put the 1st gear
Now she has 15 years, and her troubles with being alone started to call my attention, she described me that with every victory, her trainer used to "Celebrate in the best way"... Just before she begin to explain this to me, she started to punch herself, and cried over the next words: "Stop moaning"
With her rapist caught, and her addiction in treatment, i'm going to see her arround this days...

Lily had a pretty basic childhood, she grew up with two other siblings Jackson the youngest brother and Poppy the oldest sister, she also grew up with both of her parents present although her father would go on a business trip twice every year for about 2 months. Lily was pretty average in school but when she met her best friend Sophia then she started to go beyond average since Sophia was the smartest kid in her school. There’s only 2 notable things that happened to Lily, 1. Two deaths in the family occurred leaving only Lily, Jackson and their father, and 2. She met her new best friends Oliver and a being named Atom which would change Lily’s life drastically.

Neo Wovet : Despite having absolutely wonderful parents, Neo did not have a very good childhood... He was an only child, no siblings and no friends. Early on in school be got bullied for his species, and this continued on until high school. The teachers never did anything to help, and would normally side with the bullies in the end. His parents were constantly there for him, they did anything they could to help, and constantly confronted the school about it- though they still never really listened. Neo ended up closing himself off, and because of this bullies and people who actually wanted to try and be friends were pushed away. Leaving Neo completely alone... That is except for his parents and his service animal, Chucks!
