It's beautifull, I think you did an awesome job with this, I can see your enjoyment for reading with it and I can get an idea of the smells a good day of reading brings to you.
There is layers of smell here and I value that a lot... layers found in:
The warm smell of a coffee.
The coffee's imprint on the book becoming a part of its smell.
The faint smell of an older rose thats used as a bookmark also becoming part of the books smell.
All of these bringing extra richness I can visualize.
You haven't only shown smell through texture of the pages bringing forth the idea of the smell of an older book, you have layered it with your experiences of what you feel in these moments of reading, you have created a story with your details, a story of the pages of this book... the rose it's had within, the coffee that's seeped into it, it's age.
Idk if you can smell it, but the smell is quite clear in my mind
