This was the most time consuming oil painting I’ve ever worked on, around 300 hours. I’m proud of it, but definitely want to shy away from this detailed style and focus more on portraiture. I’ll get there.... someday

It looks like a picture. I saw it on my feed and in my mind I went “oh that’s a nice photograph” and then I did the whole double take when I read the description
