How on earth does any writer get anything done when they're attached to their characters? I just spent a moment being emotional over the mere concept of two of them admitting their love for one another.

I’m no writer. I do think of interactions between characters just never in a way I imagine a writer would. depending on my mood at the time it’ll either be very shallow or actually thoughtful. The former I find amusing: when it’s negative I just loom over characters like some foul god with a dulled sense of sympathy. And when positive I’m like a five year old with a power ranger doll and a Godzilla “now kith”
