“Releasing the Beast”Short story:
“My true form has been shown. None shall remember me..” Akumu roared to its enemies. “You cannot contain me!” She then snarled and flew directly to the Cobra Soldiers and their machines. Her massive size was enough to tear through their machines. The soldiers scrambled to shoot at her but failed to do so due to her speed and her dark scales. The night is her advantage. Her eyes were almost red, full of anger, pierced through the darkness. 'Her greatest enemies, she thought, will fall. No more lives will be taken.' The leader of Cobra watched as his soldier fall amd simply walked away. Then he sat in his office chair, hiding in his own office and waited. He closed his eyes and though of his next plan but only to open his eyes to see the Guardian.
"Ahh.. Guardian. I presumed you have taken down my entire base with a flick of your finger." He calmy spoke. She only narrowed her eyes and said nothing. She then summoned her staff from her right hand. Just before he spoke again, she teleported through him, holding her staff firmly. He gasped and rolled his eyes as he collapsed. She calmly stood and watched over her destruction she has caused. She only sighed and fell to her knees. She stiffly cries quietly as her men and Royal Knights has arrived..
'It is over.. Is it?' Her commander asked. She turned, eyes full of tears. She smiled and answered," ... Yes, it is.." She wiped away her tears and stood up. She then gave the command," Capture any remaining Cobra Soldiers and their commanders."
"Yes, your Highness!" Her commander replied with pride and bowed. He turned to leave the office but she stopped him.
"Commander Marlowe, be sure to free the prisoners afterwards."
He then replied," Of course, your highness." He bowed again before leaving the office. She turned to watch her people capturing any escaping soldiers. She looked up and took a deep sigh. She turned to leave the office, hoping they will never rise again. If they do, they will have no leader to guide them.Apr 23, 2021
