Practicing and learning how to establish depth in a landscape has been the single thing that’s pushed my art to the next level. Atmospheric depth, focus, Line weight, everything adds up!!

•Detail more the closer you get to the focal point
You gotta understand people will look at your pieces between 1 and 3 seconds most of the time
they wont notice the one dust particle you put in that corner of a shell!! Optimize it that way

•Definitely using with references! And the foliage and city brushes from devinellekurtz are a huge help for me

•Be careful with how you use saturation! Objects closer to you are more saturated while ones that are farther are less saturated
If you haven't yet, learn how perspective works. I recommend on learning one-point perspective first at least. Those techniques are often used in making backgrounds so learning that would definitely helps :>
