Tbh, to me when I see that I know they want to downplay their art to compliment bait. Nothing wrong with that but y’all know it’s true

A sketch just means something that didn't take the full effort of a completely rendered drawing. A more experienced artist can do more in 30 minutes than some of us can do in 3 hours, but that doesn't make them liars! A sketch is a sketch.
