Oh my god... a while ago, I made a drawing of a fairy tale called the Wild Swans and mentioned that I loved the cartoon when I was little. Well, I found it on YouTube and... have you ever revisited something from your childhood and discovered that it had WAY more influence on your art than you realized?

Oh man. GOOSEBUMPS. Bailey School Kids. Random spooky children's books from the library based on niche fairytales. Animorphs. I don't regularly think about most of these anymore but sometimes I go down a rabbit hole and I realize just how much they shaped my thinking as a creator.
