Trying out Oil Pastels for the first time

I've been wanting to try something oil-based for a while now so I tried using oil pastels for the first time. So I just sketched out Narancia and colored it in.

I really want some critique on how to blend colors and how to get more saturated pigments. Also, how do you stop the color from flaking off?

And if you want to, please give me some advice on how to draw more natural poses. Thank you for reading!Nov 9, 2020
