Yuki ver. Haru wa Kanarazu

On to my fifth attempt for portrait composition using tradish media (i.e. Copic markers). Loving this media day by day.

Umm first of all I was supposed to draw whitely ume/plum blossoms with her but I settled with sakura/cherry blossoms because the pink aesthetic bias got me. Still, I think it turned out for the best since her name is Yuki and the snow in winter reminds us that no matter how cold the season is, it falls upon us only to welcome the spring that will come again

I think my cast shadows have improved somewhat. This was supposed to be a wip at this state but this incomplete illust that was lacking line weights grew on me as I found the softness quite fitting of the warm feelings I wanted to portray.
