My lack of drawing skills has taken such a toll on me mentally. I turned this fun thing I did without thinking into something deeply link to my self worth so now it intensely fuels my depression.
I don’t think practicing is the answer to everything. Some things you can learn and then there’s some things you have or don’t have. I don’t know where to go in life from here. Drawing for fun is impossible once you have fully realized how bad you are at it.May 8, 2023

Everything can be learned! There are certain things you may struggle with more than others, sure, but the idea of being born having or not having an ability is a myth.
Don't forget that everyone else's art you see online is heavily curated (usually). You never see how many failures or how many hours they spent to get where they are.
We all go through periods of hating our art too. I know it doesn't seem like it, but it will pass. Not trying to say that you aren't allowed to feel down (feeling your feelings is good!) about it, just saying you're not alone is all.
fwiw I think your art is cool

•That's true, this is not a matter of practice, it's a matter of acceptance. Of telling that ego fueled voice that it's okay, it's okay to not be at the point you'd like to be, it's okay to be here, it's okay to feel bad, this too will pass. Radical acceptance plays an important role in our lifes, not just for art, for everything. It's a skill to be learned like any other. Depression will make it all look dark af, but it's okay, have some compassion with yourself and keep rolling.
I'd recommend checking HealthyGamerGG channel to learn more about these matters. They touch on self compassion, acceptance, self worth... and many other mental health topics.

Tho you can search word + name of the channel and get results just as well.

•Hey! Ur art isn't bad at all, i can see u have tons of potential to improve. I understand it isn't fun at all, doing practicing but not all artists are talented but they're hardworking and keep trying to improve in the way they can. I always keep reminding in all young artists and beginners that the great artists u looked up now are all started from doing bad drawings , there's surely times they don't like their own works. Allow urself do mistake and forgive urself if its turn out bad, because that's how u gonna improve and be better. It's okay if u don't know what to do, but don't give up. I wish u the very best
and be kind to urself
