Join me in this interpretation of the Turtles like you've presumably never seen before. "Gashadokuro" is my one man circus act, a dark fantasy / scifi anthro-comic inspired by syncretism of Finnish and Japanese folklore. As Kevin Eastman wrote in his preface to Zulli's "Soul's Winter", I too ask you to "Cast aside all previous issues. Strip the cast to the skeleton, raw and razor sharp." This comic is intented for mature audiences. The story revolves around war, religion, and violence, and a lot of it does rely on the audience being familiar with literature and theories of narrative (for example the "war film problem" and the depiction of hero-systems).Jun 1, 2024
