Does anyone have any good advice for making digital art with a laptop? I'm thinking about getting a laptop stand bc my head, neck, and shoulders all hurt after drawing for a couple hours and I think it might help?
I also draw with my graphics tablet on my lap so idk if that's making it worse oops.
I'm really hoping to branch off and start making comics, and one day soon begin a large comic series with my brother, and I want to make sure it won't seriously impact my health.
Any and all advice is heavily appreciated!!! ✨

I have laptop stand! Totally life saver!. :> screen is closer my eye high and I don't have to sit like little gremling.😅 Stands cost like... 30 euros over here, but I don't know how much they costs in dollars or somewhere else.

For me that helped my neck/back pain but good chair is helped too. :'>
I do all my digital work on a laptop. Honestly I'd recommend working off of a table, both for comfort and arm stability. I want to work in bad and take my tablet with me but I know I won't be as productive or consistant there.
*on a side note, my back hurts less after switching from a plastic chair to an office chair I pilfered
If your tablet is the screenless one, try looking at the laptop screen itself most of the time and memorize the shortcut keys on the tablet.

If it does have a screen, invest in a adjustable stand so you draw on tablet (on the table) at an angle that won't make you look like a shrimp.

Take plenty of breaks!
