• What is a non-binary person?
It's hard to put the non-binary identity in a full and only one meaning, because it is too complex and wide. But, if you ask me which definition is the best, I would say: someone that isn't totally or completely male of female. In the definition is important to give emphasis in the "totally or completely" and mention male and female, but why?
Because this definition came from the opposite of what we tell is a binary person; and because it's vague enough to encompass any situation out of the binary.
"So the definition "one person that is neither a men or a woman" is wrong?" It's not, but can exclude, for example: someone that is partially male or female, people who are male or female at the same time, and many more.
Important observations: not everybody that fits into the non-binary definition will claim themselves as one, like people that reject any concept of gender, and do not identify with trans or non-binary. And, lastly, the non-binary definition only applies in the ocidental scenario, for ocidental societies; for any other population, with different gender sistems, with other identities, this do not apply.
