For those who want a full story:
was at summer camp on pick up day (mom got confused on dates and thought it was the day after). The counselors obviously had to feed me and the overnight campers, so the decided to give us pb&j sandwiches.
Now I am allergic to peanut butter and the counselors knew that, so they instead gave me a sunbutter sandwich.
What the counselors did not know was that I am even more allergic to sunflower seeds than I am to peanuts.
Now, usually I would point this out but my dumbass was way too focused on how I absolutely loathe the texture of peanut butter to notice.
I took one bite and quickly threw it inti the trash
Than I feel my mouth start burning and then I remember
Oh yeah
That was sunflower butter.
I'm allergic to sunflowers
So I immediately threw up (in the trash can for once, instead of just sitting over it for awhile, start to feel better only to do so on the floor) and was quickly sent to the medical center.
Now the camp I was at had a waft of the stomach flu come through, so they just thought it was that.
The difference between that and that is this I am struggling even get a single word out, so I can barely tell them what is going on with my dang throat rn.
We decided to grab our stuff and head up to the dining hall which had the blessing that is ac. And thus, by the power of a concentrated air flow, I can now somewhat talk.
It is at this point in the story that I finally inform one of the counselors of my sun flower allergy, quickly followed by my mom arriving.
So I take some benedryll before we rush to the nearest hospital (keep in mind we're 5 hours away from home rn) and talk about all the wild stuff that happened while my mom calls said hospital. When we get there the doctor examines my blood pressure and crap to make sure I'm not dying rn. we also learn that my benadryl is 1/4 the dose it should be. We then sit in a little waiting corner for about an hour to make sure i am good before finally letting me free.

•I'm sorry to hear about you going into anaphylactic shock about your sunflower seeds allergy. Did you get prescribed an EpiPen? Yes, I want to know more.
