I think open-worlds can work greatly and I actually wanted something like this for a sonic game! :D
BUT we still need more trailers on gameplay and some beta tests to make sure that the game is what it intends to be and actually becomes successful!

Honestly it reminds me a lot of Breath of the Wild so I think it has more potential than Sonic Boom (especially considering how clear the fanbase was about how much they didn’t like Sonic Boom)
