Any character that you make yourself is an oc. It's just an "original character".
Many people give their ocs names and keep them around for development and having fun, but even if you don't, they're still technically your ocs. Maybe "original designs" would be a better term if you don't actually use them as characters.

Ok so oc means original character, for you to have an original character all you need to do is make a character that you made by yourself. Of course there are group ocs where a group of people make one oc. But you dont have to name ocs or give them bios or draw them.

Ocs stands for original character so if you draw a character that isn’t from a show or etc that came from your brain then it’s a OC, I use to be like that draw characters and not give them backstory until one day I drew my characters again & again and gave them stories. If you do or don’t draw or give stories/names and such it’s ok
