They both met in an alleyway where Esther found Ainsley dying after slitting their throat open to sell off their blood to the merchants for a bit of pocket money. The scent of their blood immediately had an effect on her and she knew she just had to take them home (but a part of her almost just drained the life out of Ainsley right then and there. She wanted to dig and tear through their throat but kept herself still it was difficult. Very difficult for a feral)
Anyways, time to finally loredump about Ainsley okay? But yah they're a blood maiden. What the fuck is that? Uhhhh
Blood maidens are humans born with blood that is richer, sweeter, and more addicting than a normal human's. Basically, made for the sole purpose of vampire consumption. Their exact origins are unclear but one of the popular theories about their existence is that they were bred by elder original vampires to become a safer food source during an old blood plague that significantly impacted not only the human population but also the vampires that fed off of them. There's also a theory out there that links the feral vampires to this blood plague but that thought has a lot of holes in it so yah... It's like these two were made to meet XDAug 11, 2025
