This is my painting for @nikolas_tower draw this in your style challenge!
This was a really great learning experience, It might be my first time painting a whole background. I usually leave lots of negative space but this feels really good. I might do it more now. Also tackling it all in watercolour posed quite the challenge.
Nikolas original painting (swipe to the end) was intricate and had so much colour and energy. Though I didn't have gold paint for the hair, I tried to match the feeling I got from it with my own twist. Thank you for this challenge!!
Also my references was a photo I found on Pinterest. I really tried for so long to find the original source of it but I had no luck. So credit goes to that person too.Sep 22, 2020
