Tips on all pens wear down
The difference is wacom gave me ten tips that I've only changed out three times in 7 years.

•It’s completely normal! All pen nibs wear down over time! The pencil should have come with replacements, if not you can easily buy a few more! Ofc as others have mentioned the grit of the screen and pushing hard might make it happen faster, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Good luck!

•Yeah that happens, after awhile they get worn down, happens faster if you use a lot of pressure or a screen protector like you described. Pretty sure you can just buy replacement tips though.

•I’ve heard that the paper texture screen does wear the tips down faster. I don’t use one (though I really want to try it out) and I’ve never had much wear on my Apple Pencil.
