I use tumblr , it’s my main place where I post my works .
Fan arts tends to do better , but after you build an audience there, ocs are very much liked too!
I found my fandoms and it’s really fun there lol
Also the more you post the more the algorithm will push your posts. It can be art or just text posts too.

I use Tumblr! And to answer that second question, I would say “sort of.”
Fanart tends to do better there, but I have seen original art be pretty popular too!
My art is pretty niche (grounded toony furry plus sized fantasy monsters) so my stuff doesn’t really get very many “notes” or interactions.
You have to constantly block any bot account you come across because THEY CAN HACK YOUR ACCOUNT.
