Château de Villerouge-Termenès

A little late, but here's a study I did of the castle of Villerouge-Termenès

It's for the 700th anniversary of the death of Guilhèm de Belibasta, the last Cathar priest we know of.

It was on August 24th, actually. But I still plan to make a big illustration out of it.

It's honestly such an honour to live in this day and age, to see the legendary day of the 700th anniversary of Belibasta's death come.

I may be a history nerd but I'm a happy one

I want to make this illustration a tribute for him and all the Occitans who faught in the Cathar Wars. It's a very personal piece, so I hope it turns out nice ^^
