TOH OC: Lost Feathers
Context:Once the harpies of the Boiling Isles were hunted for their feathers, fine ingredients for various potions, especially love filters.
That was until, 50 years ago, Emperor Belos came to power and made the sale of feathers illegal, in order to forge an alliance with the last remaining harpy village.
When she was 16, the current village chief Juno was brutally stolen her feathers by two poachers, and her arms burned as they no longer grew. To do this they used a tool similar to a fire file, which they abandoned near her, risking to burn half of the forest.
Juno was saved only thanks to the providential arrival of a "young" Belos and some of his early followers.
It was to repay her debt that Juno's mother, Chief Rhea, decided to swear allegiance to Belos on behalf of the village.Aug 3, 2024
