A Narrative Overview: The Guild MasterI have a story I’m working on, and I have been inspired to yap about it hehe.
Guven is a Guild Master. While the title sounds imposing, it is merely a glorified title for those who lead a guild. Guilds are a group of scouts, the lowest sector of Lucenta’s military, and the most expendable. He leads a guild with only three members, including himself. They are a guild that evades certain eyes from the government. They are a guild of secrets.
Guven’s life is complicated; his father is in the government, and he aims to eradicate the forest beasts that constantly threaten their city, while Guven is a guild master with the mission to protect them.
The City of Lucenta sits behind a towering mountain that hides them from their warmongering neighbors. In front of them is a forest as colossal as the ocean, its species within more threatening than war. Beasts twice the size of their canons constantly assault them for no other reason than to kill. As part of the military scouts, Guven and his guild must continually enter the forest to hunt or execute missions. During these missions, he studies beast behavior closely, aiming to someday find evidence that they are more than senseless murderers.
However, these studies lead to complications. An established belief is already difficult to untangle, yet he must also protect the secrets of his own members. If any of these secrets come to light, one may end up dead, and another may be accused of treason.
