Happy New Year 2026

明けましておめでとうございます！
Happy New Year in the final month and half of the Year of the Snake!

If you have any, what are your New Years Resolutions? ️

We are already 4 days into the new year, and I hope you all are settling well in 2026. I hope this will be a year filled with great memories and where you all are able to chase after your dreams and turn it into a reality, and have a wonderful year ahead️

To welcome the New Year with my first post of 2026, I decided to draw my Snake girl OC in kimono with her snake whom I created both for my Chinese New Year celebratory art last year I'm pretty happy with this rendition of my Snake girl in this drawing, giving her a different hairstyle which I have envisioned and experimenting with a different value tone. For those who aren't aware, we are still technically in the Year of the Snake. The next Zodiac animal year, which is the Horse year, officially jumps in at the start of Chinese New Year, which is in the middle of February for this year.

Once again, I would like to thank everyone who has shown me tremendous support towards my work throughout 2025 It's crazy that year gone by incredibly fast. Although it was a rough year for me with a lot of adversities, there were as many memorable moments that also made it an awesome year to look back on with a smile.

I'm really excited to see what 2026 will bring One of my goals for this year is to continue to prosper as an artist, brush up my drawing skills further and hoping to look for a professional artists who can tutor me in real life. Depending on how my art progresses throughout the year, I would definitely like to chase after the opportunity to table at Convention's Artists Alley, which many of my friends have encouraged me to do. However, before I take that step, I would like to do some freelance art to gain some prior experience. I hope to stop procrastinating and get around to start working on my manga and would like to write stories since I also aspire to become an author.
