I am deeply sorry again for not seeing this until two weeks ago. But I love the outcome.
This was a challenge inside a challenge. I only used square brushes. I said to myself imperfections is what you want. It makes the scene more unsettling. Plus I tried to replicate those hunt trophy paintings of old times. Having the dead game lying around with decorative stuff. But I thought leafs would be better to not take focus away from the cut cake. It is a bit in the shadow so you won't see it at first.
And if you are interested, the cake is chocolate red velvet. If it's blood or sweets, you decide.
