Love Sick/Sick Love
The main inspiration for the whole composition were the works of @maryastart on instagram. She does most of her works digitally, but I did this one traditionally.But the biggest inspiration behind the whole idea and the concept was the photo of Juani Gaiteiro/ @juaaniig on Instagram.
Everything from the pose, to his expression and to the makeup was giving me that wish to draw. I have to admit though, it was hard to get the pose right, because of how the head was positioned.
It was challenging, but interesting too. Since I don't know the anatomy of the human body that well, I had to solely rely on what I'm seeing.
And that in it's turn led me to observing the reference picture more attentively.Feb 6, 2022
