The Gazing Mermaid

"Everyday the beautiful mermaid would sit on her favorite rock in the sea and stare out into the abyss. Life was good and this was her home."

For Mermay 2019, I painted this beautiful and curvy mermaid. This was another illustration where I tried to play with texture more. When I draw digitally, I am try to incorporate my my traditional skills into the mix while experimenting with things that are not my strongest suit like colors and backgrounds.
