If it makes you feel any better, it most likely isn't your fault that the numbers are so low. It is the teachers' job to show you how stuff is done and clearly they aren't doing well. You are doing your best and your mom should be happy, not scolding. Maybe try getting some extra work to boost your grades? And if you need help, you can hmu :) πŸ–€βœ¨
