I don't really care if what I'm about to say sounds arrogant or selfish or something, but... I honestly wish that NSFW art wasn't allowed here on Artfol at all. Not only does it ruin the soft welcoming atmosphere here, but it ruins the experience on here too. Like when you're scrolling through art looking for new artists to follow maybe and some stupid NSFW art comes, for me it almost kills off my entire motivation to scroll through art. Like, I don't want to be looking through art in the "what's hot" category for example if there's gonna be disgusting and completely inappropriate NSFW art popping up here and there. No thanks. I like Artfol, I really do. But it makes it difficult for me to find new artists to follow when half of the art is NSFW garbage. I'm not sorry, bc crap like that shouldn't even exist, let alone be on a friendly art site like this.Nov 29, 2022

But I'm wondering if we have the same definition actually, what can be classified as NSFW art in your opinion? Genuine question just because I'm curious and so I can know when to put the filter if I ever post some (which I doubt honestly, I never share them and I usually don't even keep such drawings anyway)

I will say that I’m thankful for the filters, and the age restriction for nsfw content. But my problem is when artists don’t even use them in the first place. I support nsfw artists (as long as it’s legal and not weird ofc), even if it’s not my thing, but it’s so important to filter your work and put the correct warnings. There are so many minors on here 
most people on artfol are good with that kind of thing, but there is definitely the odd time someone will just post straight up p*rn with no warning
