The Penetrator
Here is the Penetrator from Demon's Souls ! I debated whether or not to do his 2009 iteration as it was a little more simpler, and the lighter silver with the blue attacks looked so cool. However I settled on the taking inspiration mostly from the Demon's Souls Remake. The design in the remake is also super cool, and both felt different enough to where it made the choice pretty hard.Regardless, this drawing was a real test for me. The background, specifically the statues, caused me some trouble. It's a little sloppy but I still think it turned out good in the end! Overall this drawing took significantly longer than any piece I've done to date. The lineart alone took 2-3 hours, which never happened to me on a piece that has only one character in it. In the end, I think the struggle paid off as I love the end result. I hope you like it too!Aug 11, 2021
