I have never won anything beacuse of my art, one day I won second place (and a pricy JBL speaker) in a product-making contest, I came up with a cutsie dog collars, so I guess that counts as craft thing (?). 
But don't feel bad or less talented because of not winning, this is an absolutely amazing work!
