I find digital way less intimidating, probably because I draw backgrounds in like a sculpting way and so there's a lot of changes and erasing and that's just more manageable in a digital environment.

I find digital easier than traditional because of the range it has within it. Backgrounds are still a challenge but much easier on digital (layers, transform tools, blending modes, clipping and masks, slew of brushes, gradients, color grading, lasso tool, etc) Traditional is fun for the process and the tactile nature of it, but my best generally comes from digital. Plus I just practice more there because theres less friction between me and act of making the art. I leave traditional for sketches and when I want to experience its vibes and practice the specific skills related to the medium of choice (watercolor, colored pencil, alcohol marker, etc)
