Simon <3
I just wanted to draw Simon for myself, both versions blond and brown.I like both versions quite a bit, but I like the brown one a little better.
I wasn't trying to draw him as handsome, but more convincing as I imagine him to be.
On the one hand, I'm not entirely satisfied; it could be better, but on the other hand, I like the result
For me, Simon is simply a middle-aged man who has been through a lot, and that has shaped him, not only internally but also externally.
Realtalk:
I started with a shirtless version to contrast Simon with his mask,
but then decided to give him a shirt after all.
It always hurts me deeply when I see him (and the other guys) depicted (half) naked as pure sex and kink objects.
For me, (my) characters are so much more than just thirst traps.
And—to be honest, Simon (and the others) are no less attractive in clothes :3
Every now and then I draw my boys topless,
but not with the intention of making it look cheap and “sex sells,” but because I love aesthetics
And for me, aesthetic nudity is different from cheap/porn,
