Mmhmm. Made an account yesterday in case it became the twitter alternative. It feels like you need to read an entire manual just to understand how to use the site. It's a massive turn off when I can't just... Work out a website by clicking buttons.
I don't think it'll become the twitter alternative for that reason - it's way too complicated. Twitter excelled because it's Easy to use.
