I already draw a lot of horror adjacent stuff vis a vis the human body, so it doesn’t feel too far out of my wheelhouse to explore that space in the same way that I’ll give someone five extra arms lol. I’m coming to terms with my own body and process toward transition, plus what I view as the simultaneous commercialization/martyrdom of the body in America and art is really only an extension of that
I don't understand how acts of fictional and real life violence are so openly shown everywhere but nudity and the human body is so regulated and hidden and forbidden.

I'm glad to live in a culture where public saunas are a thing but even here we are far away from freeing the nipple.

I'm okay with non-sexual and sexual nudity, I'm okay with artistic nudity, I'm okay with seeing art portraying sexual acts or sexual tension (for example, the whole career of Tom of Finland), I'm a grown man and I'm okay with seeing nudity and the human body in general.

I don't make art that's sexual myself cause it's simply not very high on the list of things I want to do. Trying to stay on-topic here, I'm not into portraying non-sexual artistic nudity, either. I could, but there is such a long-long-long list of artistically more inspiring things and ideas that it simply doesn't happen.
im aight with it tbh, i guess if done tastefully and not unnecessarily its great
Ehh, I think that nudity is something that should be kept private. If I were to be naked, I wouldn't want to be seen. Therefore, in my very harmless opinion, I don't like it.
I like nudity! Bodies are not shameful, they are just natural and exist to keep people alive. They are super diverse but none of them is wrong. Most of them can even do movements and poses that reveal something about the mood, or the current activity of the person. So, it should appear that I am neutral to nudity, because I percieve nudity itself as neutral. But I love seeing neutral nudity, in contrast to social ideas and judgements that often depict it as wrong (and it is in some social situations, but I like that in art it is not).
Since it is non-sexual, I'm fine with it, but i don't feel comfortable looking at them though
Im neutral, good for anatomy and physique, and general shape practice. Also, certain emotions can be captured. I’d be uncomfortable drawing any myself since any nudity in an anime esque style already isn’t great, but I see the appeal
I suppose I really like it as most my art includes nudity 🤷‍♀️
I LOVE NUDITY IN ART! Especially for expressing things like vulnerability, or heavier topics in a way that feels raw, if that makes any sense! Like renaissance-era nude artwork… YUM, so beautiful!
In terms of making it myself… it’s mostly just anatomy studies over here. I also agree with a lot of what mithiell said!
I'm probably just used to naked statues and painting stuff from architecture just being around + aro ace, so it’s just a thing.
And I’m pretty sure naked people art was just part of our schoolbooks, history, art history, literature. All non sexualized in the way it’s handled and that’s just normal.

Plus with doing art stuff yourself nudity is great for anatomy studies and drawing things in general (plus the moment of having drawn a really nice tummy and having to cover it up with the clothes you had planned beforehand qwq).
Not for me personally, I view peoples naked bodies as something very personal and private so it makes me uncomfortable when I just see a random persons uncovered body, like I’m invading their privacy somehow.
Jeg liker det som oftest- det er interessant å kunne se den nakne menneskekroppen uten å ha seksuell kontekst dyttet inn😆
