when the protogen might be illegal
I'm proud to ask y'all to meet a new oc/sona, Waffle! unfortunately she's probably an illegal protogen because I'm not sure if soft serve machine chests are allowed,, but nonetheless, I still love them <3Waffle, when looked at as a sona, is supposed to represent the more kinder person that I want to be. they're very affectionate and motherly as well as patient with others! might write more on them as I develop them further, but in the meantime I hope y'all love them as much as I do :DJan 16, 2022

SERIOUSLY THIS IS THE BEST PROTO. EVER. I WANNA DRAW THEM SO BAD. THEYRE SO PRETTY HHHHHH
And tbh I'm sad that these creative ideas are viewed as "illegal". It's not like DADs where, while they have rules on that is a Dutchie and what is not, they still leave room for creative ideas and most importantly, don't lock things behind a paywall. Protogens, however, leave very little room for what you can and can't do. I look at Dutchies (very cool) and protogens (very cool with LOTS of potential), and I look at the OCs made from them, and... there's just such a huge difference. I see so many creative Dutchie designs, meanwhile every Protogen looks the same with one or two colors, and the really cool ones usually have rare parts that were from auctions or are helped by the artist's amazing art style. It makes me sad, honestly.
I don't mean to diss the ppl who made protogens, i'm just not someone keen on closed species and having to pay for creativity.
I seriously love the creativity! Keep on being awesome and making these rad designs!
