Jim the Hedgehog & Chris the Chao • 7/4/2016 • GalacticSpyro

This was another slight update to Jim, but this time with his Chao friend: Chris! I have drawn Chris before, but only in pencil. This was my first time adding some color to him.

I was heavily inspired by FoxTail's drawing of Jim when I decided to make this since it's just so dang cool. The changes I made to Jim were his quills and ears. Before, the quills were as long as Sonic's, but I decided to shorten them in honor of my old-ass Sonic art as I would often draw quills small for some reason. (But also because I love how FoxTail drew Jim's!) Unfortunately, I never made any saves of Jim before I added Chris, so we can't see what all the quills originally looked like. :( The quills on his forehead were updated slightly, and his ears are now slightly curved to give off a more devious appearance.


Chris is a trickster of a Chao. He often likes to mess with Jim through pranks and hiding things. He's a lot more level-headed than Jim is and will try to talk some reason into him when he's angry (Jim taught Chris how to speak). Chris is also a daredevil, but he's set some limits due to his small size....Which he will often ignore in favor of having fun!

Chris' best skills are in flying and skateboarding, and he has a little water bed (with fish) that he loves to jump on. He's quite fond of Solana and is always happy to see her. Chris is a little wary around anyone that isn't a friend of Jim and keeps some distance from them, but he loves hangin' with other Chao.
