My mother is doing better this morning! Her injuries aren't as severe as they could have been. She's on pain meds and slept well. The cats and I kept an eye on her all night. We're doing alright which is better than not being alright. I also really want to thank you all for the kind messages yesterday. This community means everything to me.

That’s good your mom is doing better. And that’s sad and terrifying someone broke into your house. Hope you two are alright and are shaking off the aftermath of today or last night whenever the robbery happened.
