Entry featuring LorenzoI thought this was such a cool concept, I got started on this piece a bit ago but had such a difficult time selecting what exactly he would say! I know, I know, it doesn’t seem like much, but let me take this opportunity to explain and introduce this character.
This is Lorenzo Carmeline! He’s 25 years old, exactly 6’, and is also.. a hitman. But hey, on the plus side, he’s a total dog person (he has four currently, although volunteers at shelters on the weekends when he gets the chance, so he’s always fostering or adopting more). Personality wise and such, I sent the following to a friend awhile back: A little bit crazy/unhinged, quite flirtatious and charming, a bit of an alcoholic. Will lean in for a kiss before he cuts your throat. If you’re into danger and passion, this guy is absolutely right up your alley. This character design is so COOL!! FIrst of all, I love how you drew and colored his hair - it's so curly AND sparkly~ The mix of violet red, red violet, and pink really gives his hair a lovely cherry flair - and did I mention the sparkles?
Look at that jawline, very strong and broad - I'm guessing he's quite physically imposing build-wise as well as height. I also really like that jacket he's wearing! I see that Cerberus tattoo on his throat - talk about being cutthroat, eh? If that doesn't tip you off to his occupation I don't know what will
In speaking of which, the font you used for his name is so much like the cut out magazine letters archetypal kidnappers use- not sure if that was an intentional allusion to his danger, but I think it's a really nice touch
Also, the cityscape in the background is so wonderful! I love the different lines you drew on each building, from the standard grid to diagonal lines, and even some wavy lines too?? Tbh city buildings are kind of tricky to draw (at least for me), so to see one done so well is just gorgeous! The yellow-orange lighting contrasts so wonderfully with the shimmering night sky~
Also, I really like the graphics at the top there! Is that like... a relationship meter? 3 being "Friends" or something? I think that's how dating Sims work- also I love how his thumbnail photo has him wearing a shirt that says "bad word here" that'd be so charming if he weren't evil-
But that doesn't change the fact that this drawing is AMAZING! I'm so sorry for saying way too much- okay bye
