Sleeping Moon
Some of my pieces are inspired by dreams, but the things I imagine are way beyond my power of execution. In this one, the dream was about what looked like a village built in a deep forest of very old trees, and there was a gigantic person sleeping in the forest. She was so tall that if you looked up you couldn't see her head, so that s why i gave her a moon instead of a head.The forest is something i see a lot in my dreams. It symbolyses the subcounscious mind and also nature, the thing we run back too when we need questions answered. The moon represents the feminine principle, intuition.

On interpretation i see a sad/tired/melancholy moon spirit. It looks like she is dropping the wheat so maybe their harvest will fail this year because she has given up. This is probably far from the intention of the piece but its what it made me think of

Awesome! Ive been keeping a dream journal recently in the hope of making art from it but ive discovered the imagery in my dreams is often more creepy then fantastical
