Ooo this is a super cool idea
I think one thing is the values and saturation are all equal in all the subjects, as well as being equally rendered.
It makes it hard to know what the focus of the painting is, my eyes get glued to the huge ox, but the girl seems like she should be the subject as shes in the midground and in the eyeview.
You can still have the detailed rendering, but maybe use less saturation on them and learn to use greys that hint at color to show more depth. When youre sketching, try to lay down some basic values to work off of and zoom out, see if you can tell whats the most important thing in the image. Typically the subject in compositions will have the highest values and usually the highest saturated colors (this isnt a rule ofc! In this painting specifically, I think the girl and lantern shes holding would have the highest values, and the latter would have the highest saturation, aswell as her hands)

Hope this helps with some direction, hopefully I wasnt wrong with the girl being the subject! ^^;; If I am, hopefully my suggestions can still be useful XD
I really like the composition and the colours you used on this artwork. The orange and blue really compliment each other well.
The only thing that I think could be improved would probably be the hands. Their colour is really close to the lanterns' colour, and you can easily miss them. Maybe you could make them pop-out a little more by reflecting the blue light on them or by increasing the contrast ?
Other than that, it's a really cool piece and I really like the feel of it!
