Deltarune chapter 5 spoilers

I made a reference for my fan design of Seth (Deltarune chapter 5) with some of my creative liberties, and a sense of surrealism since Deltarune was inspired by a fever dream. I added more plant-like features and I was inspired by the various ways other people draw them. The deeper colored things in the middle of their tail are leaves, by the way. I think (according to this fan design) they have a feeling that humans don't have those and so they hide it, and it's an off topic subject for them. Like I said, yes I know they don't have that in canon, but I felt like giving that to them. I love this character so much, they're such a mess and so me coded and also interesting to me, they give off troubled overworked teen vibes. I feel a need to take care of them like they're a younger sibling. I personally see them as coded similar in range to Kris and their classmates.I no longer have a specific headcanon for what species the flowers are, they're closest to a mix of anemones and roses (the floral constructs that Blue makes lean into this) but the specific species is largely irrelevant other than the fact it takes time and effort to care for them and they can survive a few hours in the dark world.Jul 25, 2026
