Does anyone else wants to be popular but at the same time thinks that your art is not even worth 5 likes even when it's improving?

I'd like to be well known but I don't want to be controlled by it. I'm just your chill artist doing all I can to improve is all. Besides so long as one likes my art it's all worth it.

I don't necessarily want to be popular, but it would be nice if people like my art or if my art means something to people.
โข
I mean. I like my art. But I know it's not much special. I'd love for my art and characters to be popular and to have 'fans' I guess but. Yeah I feel ya. I love my art but it's not really for everyone I guess

I donโt exactly think my art is terrible but you know itโs a little disappointing when nobody sees a post you put effort into. My dream is not really to be popular. People that actually care about what you create are better than ones who follow simply because other people are. So that means I have achieved my goal when somebody makes a meaningful comment, even if only a few people do that.

I mean, I don't wanna be famous as in "2million people follow me and each post gets 20thousand likes", I just wish I had like 5 people commenting on my stuff, that'd be nice-

I agree with JesterpepIta. Your color choices are fantastic so don't be hard on yourself.
Personally, I just want a good number of people who are interested in my art enough to support me, and also be vocal when I ask them stuff like "what theme do you want to see more of." Like a mini art community, like the kind semi famous artists have on their discord server.
My biggest problem is I don't make art fast enough and have no backlog of material.
My second biggest problem is there's no consistency. Unlike OC artists, my biggest motivator to draw is DTIYS and challenges.
Until I fix these problems, I understand if I'm not worth someone's dedicated time.

I donโt really care if I am popular, I do like it when someone appreciates something I have made though. On YouTube, the content I make is not quality enough to actually get any attention and I am fine with that

Also you art is really worth to be popular, I hope you find your loyal audience one day
โข
I don't feel like it's not worthy, I just realize it's not for the wide audience of people especially once I start only doing what I want exactly, it will attract even less people. There's a small chance of becoming popular this way
