Does anyone else also follow people to also see their art (skills) grow?
I remember following someone on instagram before just because of one post and as the years went by I got to see all the fandoms they were part of and how they started to tackle down things they once struggled to draw. I think it was really cool to be able see that growing process.Nov 22, 2022

Honestly one of my favorite things to see is people growing as both an artist and a person.

This to 100%! Some artists I see really remind me of myself when starting out. I remember just how difficult it could be to get any kind of feedback on things you put your whole soul in and how devestating that could be. So now when I see smaller artists who put their all into their works and have themes that are interesting to me, it's an immediate follow

Yeah! Supporting artists who are relatively at the beginning of their journey is so nice

90% of the time i follow ppl just because of that! Maybe they don't have artistic skills but draw a cool concept, i LOVE to see them happy, cause i can give them the push they need to to draw again!!

I did follow someone for that reason on Artfol. A traditional artist. I liked the themes in their art and I could see a growing, solid foundation for the fundamentals. But they stopped posting so I don't know how they're progressing.
